What is the cost to conduct an investigation and how do I pay?
The costs and fees associated with these investigations vary, depending on the service you require and the country. Our team will conduct a complimentary review of your case and outline a scope of work based on our initial assessment. We will provide you with a questionnaire to help you summarise your enquiry and allow our team to review in a timely manner. If your case is complex and requires extended evaluation, we will request funding to review all documentation in order to give you the most accurate assessment of your case.
Our fees can be settled by bank transfer or by using a credit card (please note, all credit card transactions incur a 2.5% processing fee).
What if I’m unable to fund an investigation?
IFW Global Investigations is a private intelligence and investigations firm. We are unable to provide Pro-bono work as we incur significant costs throughout any investigation. We are not government funded and our firm does not offer litigation funding, therefore, it is necessary for our clients to fund their investigations.
What other external expenses may be incurred?
This will depend on the type of investigation you require. For example, database fees may be applicable, however an estimate is always provided prior to any work commencing.
We will never incur any additional expenses without your authorisation and/or prior approval. You may request further work to be conducted however we will provide an estimate of fees before this is completed.
How long does an investigation take?
For most of our investigations, it can take up to 14 business days. Depending on the urgency of the case, we can work with our clients to achieve the best results within the timeframe required. If further work is requested outside of the agreed scope of work, please allow additional time.
What information do you require from me?
This depends on what service you require. We will need as much information as you can provide that supports your enquiry. We will also require your ID (Current passport or Driver’s license) for our records.
Can the evidence found in an investigation be used in a court of law in Australia or overseas?
As our firm and all of our operatives are licensed by the NSW Police Force, all evidence obtained as a result of our investigations is admissible in any court of law in Australia and in most cases, in any foreign jurisdiction.
